I have found out that the washers on my Audi TT for the headlights work but not for the windshield. Is there a certain sequence I have to perform in order to switch between the two washers or am I just lacking washer fluid?
Answer:you are quite possibly lacking washer fluid, only recently replaced mine, pop the bonnet and it should be on the left side, then again a warning light should have come on at some point to indicate that the fluid levels were low.
So, I am getting my license next week! I am looking for cars, and the Audi TT coupe caught my eye. Is it suitable for me? I will be driving to school, around the town, and on short trips. I was also looking at the BMW 328i coupe. Do you have any more suggestions that are in this price range? It is not necessary to rant about how "spoiled" I am. Yes, my family is doing quite well financially, but my parents have decided that I have earned the privileged of a new car, and I am very very grateful.

Answer:there is no magic number or near magic number were cars suddenly break . components are in a constant state of degradation and its up to the owner to be on top of it.with proper care the car can last several hundred thousand miles or more
I found some corrosion on the connector of my battery and I can't start. What are the risk of unplugging the plus of the battery. My car is a 2000 Audi TT quattro. Thanks I meant restart obviously!
Answer:thats fine- but you should disconnect negative first.
Theres 4 little covers that if you move to the side reveal screws that you remove from the top of the audi tt. What are they for? Looks like theyre for removing the hard top but is that possible?

I'm looking to purchase a cpo audi tt 3.2 but all of the ones near me are manual. I could pay about six grand more and buy a tt 3.2 with an auto but dont know if it could be cheaper to change the transmission on it once purchased?
Answer:Don't bother. If you want automatic, buy an automatic. Save the manual transmission cars for people who want them.

I am confused on the whole roadster and quattro thing, and I wanted to know if I could get a audi tt convertible that fit 4 people, or if it only fit two? also, is it cramped in the two seater audi tt?? my boyfriend is 6'4 and like 230pds. will he be uncomfortable driving it or being the passenger?
Answer:Looks like most of your question has already been answered. I own a TT convertible. I am 5' 6" and have no problems, but it does take some getting used to getting in and out because it is low. The doors are wide and I find I often have scuff marks on the inside caused by trying to swing my legs out without have space to fully open the door. My husband is 5' 11" and he does not like driving in it unless the top is down. He feels very claustrophobic. It is pretty small inside with the top up.
I have a stock 2002 audi tt quattro and i wanna make it better performance wise but I'm not so sure on how to. I want to increase the horse power and make it louder and/or more noticeable without breaking the bank.

Answer:I drove both the 3.2 quattro DSG and the TT Sport and I believe the latter was a quicker car. It was considerably lighter and and a better BHP/Ton ratio. Acceleration was quicker.
